King of Kings Community is called to be a compelling, Messiah-centered, Spirit-empowered, disciple-making community that reveals the true face of Yeshua (Jesus) to Israel and to the nations.
King of Kings Community Los Angeles exists to fulfill the Great Commission given by Jesus to His disciples before His ascension to
“Go and make disciples” (Matthew 28:19).
We recognize this was not a suggestion, nor a command simply to those standing before Him, but rather a continuation of God’s first command to mankind in the Garden to
“Be fruitful and Multiply” (Genesis 1:28).
As believers in Jesus Christ, this is our not just our calling, but more so our responsibility. As such, we, as a church strive to live our lives in such a way that we are regularly being discipled and MAKING disciples.
We do so by being the hands and feet of Jesus here on this earth through showing His love, His Hope and His Kingdom.
We adhere to Jesus’ mission statement as found in John 10:10
“I have come that they would have life and life more abundantly”.
And are passionate about helping people, all people, from all walks of life and situations, to embrace that abundant life.
Our mission is to help people grow in their faith by enlightening them to a deeper understanding of the Word of God and the covenant we share with our Heavenly Father, by embracing their Hebrew roots. Recognizing that Jesus was not a Christian but rather a Jew, we desire for people to understand the context that the Bible was written in not just the content.
King of Kings Los Angeles is built on community and as such, we strive to build a community of believers walking in covenant relationship with their Father, free of sin and guilt. restored back to Him by the blood of Jesus Christ. Not exhibiting the form of Godliness, but truly in covenant and fellowship with their creator becoming all they are called to be and fulfilling their purpose in the Kingdom of God!
Pastors Jeni and Brian Stivale are both veterans of the entertainment industry. After years working professionally in and out of NYC-they felt God calling them from Broadway, to the “narrow way”. They spent the next several years serving as worship and arts pastors at several mega churches. In 2010, they launched Stivale Ministries and began to travel the world preaching and teaching about the Gospel of the Kingdom of God. During that time they hosted several TV programs, mounted Christian productions in Russia and several parts of the US and were invited by the Israeli Government to install their original production The Kingdom, a rock version of the Passion (the first every to be told in Israel’s history) in Jerusalem.
In 2011, the Stivales, along with their two sons Gabriel and Benjamin moved to Jerusalem, Israel for two years. During that time, God awakened them to the importance and power of understanding our Hebrew roots as believers in Jesus Christ. They were made Good Will Ambassadors to the State of Israel and returned to America in 2013 to awaken the American church to the richness and legacy we have in the Hebraic history of our faith.
They also returned with the knowledge and calling that God wanted them to start a church in the Los Angeles area. So in 2016 they launched Big Picture Hollywood, a Bible Study and fellowship group for artist in the Hollywood community. The study grew but they knew they weren’t fully walking out what God called them to. That’s when they made the choice to say YES and launched King of Kings Community Los Angeles .
In addition to pastoring, Brian is a professional voice actor with hundreds of credits including TV shows, radio and a plethora of video games.
Jeni is a sought after public speaker and author. She recently released her first book Jesus Was a Liberal; Loving, Giving and Living Life More Abundantly. She is currently working on her second book, Cultural Christianity.
They reside in Southern California with their two sons Gabriel and Ben and their two furry babies Norman and Booyahkasha.
